Anticipation high ahead of the arrival of the FIFA’s World Cup trophy

Anticipation is high as the countdown begins for the arrival of the most coveted trophy in the world.

FIFA’s World Cup trophy is expected to arrive at Port Little Bay on Friday October 18 at approximately 11 a.m.

The authentic sold-gold, 18 carat trophy is now in Bermuda after visiting Jamaica, Cayman Islands and the Bahamas on the Caribbean leg of the tour.

An excited Gregory Willock, who is the on-island coordinator of the event, has emphasized that the occasion may be a once in a lifetime opportunity for Montserrat.

He is therefore encouraging everyone to work together to ensure that Montserrat stands out among the 89 countries which will be visited on FIFA World Cup Trophy tour by Coca Cola.

Meantime… A food and Craft Fair will be held in honour of the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour.

The Fair will take place at the Public Market starting at 11 a.m.

However, main organizer of the fair Juliana Meade says interested Vendors must register free of cost to take part in the food and craft Fair.
