Fifa Under-17 World Cup: Nigeria not complacent about Sweden test

Al Ain City: Saturday night’s 6-1 mauling of defending champions Mexico, in a group F encounter of the Fifa Under-17 World Cup, is a clear indication that the Nigerians are here on a mission and they are not going to settle for anything less than the title.
The Eaglets now have Sweden in their sights and coach Manu Garba announced that they will not be showing any mercy to their opponents from 8pm on Tuesday.
“We are going to approach the match against Sweden the same way as we did against Mexico,” said Garba. “Our objective is to win the fourth title for Nigeria.
“We are not taking anything lightly from now on. No team can be taken lightly and there won’t be any easy game at this tournament. We are not going to underrate Sweden because we beat Mexico 6-1.”
