Our client is responsible for running one of the largest sporting events in the world in 2015.
The Local Organising Committee has already been appointed and now requires a superstar in the form of someone to come in and provide Office Administration support.
Once appointed, your mission will be to do everything possible to support this extraordinary Team.
This is a “do what it takes” job, and it’s perfect for a “make it happen”, highly capable, energetic person. Playing an integral part in the day to day activities of the business as it prepares for and then executes this incredible tournament; you’ll be responsible for all the standard administration duties from managing staff travel and accommodation requirements, maintaining the company database, chasing suppliers for outstanding invoices as well as everything in between.
It’s a busy job – it’s fast paced – so no two days will ever be the same.
To secure this role, you must have a proven track record in Administration/Secretarial work at a senior level; experience multitasking and supporting an Executive Team, outstanding communication skills, plenty of ability to perform effectively under pressure and a willing approach.
You will be required to work closely with a range of people and important stakeholders therefore, the ability to act in confidential, professional and trustworthy manner at all times is crucial. It goes without saying that your MS Office skills are first class and you have a reputation for being able to take care of any kind of problem - big or small.
